“Women in Enterprise aims to encourage, support and empower women into business and assist established women business owners through gathering and sharing knowledge and information".
Women in Enterprise was established in 1998 to provide a support network for women in business or those considering starting a business in the North West.
Under-pinning all Women in Enterprise activities is a dynamic network and self-help model where members and everyone receiving assistance are encouraged to return the favour by getting involved in whatever way they can. This can be through offering support to others, becoming role models and mentors. Sharing of experience and assisting the empowerment of others becomes second nature for many of the women involved.
Women in Enterprise is a member of Business Women’s networks Northern Ireland along with Women on the Move covering the North East; Enterprising Women Network, covering the Armagh & Down; Network for Enterprising Women, covering the Fermanagh & Tyrone.
